- 4 / 5By Simon CullenThe hotel has been nicely refurbished. The reception area is modern and welcoming and the bar and restaurant look nice although we didn't use them. Bedrooms are comfortable and we'll equipped with plugs and USB sockets! Really nice bathroom with rain shower and fairtrade shower gel and shampoo. Very fast WiFi too. The only slight let down by the quality of the corridors which aren't painted brilliantly!April 29, 2017

- 5 / 5By Alison MellorMy expectations were not high before arrival but I needn't have be concerned. The hotel was lovely, well decorated, clean with very comfy beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Check out at 12 noon was a bonus. Considering how close it is to the A1, you couldn't hear the traffic and we were in a room over looking it. We would certainly stay at the hotel again if we're in the area and we would now consider using Novotel in other areas.August 13, 2016
