  Harvester has always been a bit hit or miss when you visit. However it is definitely becoming worse and we will not be visiting again. Service was appalling with over an hour wait, food including a mix grill came out cold and tge mix grill was missing an egg. We raised our issues with the manager who said she'd get all the meals cooked again. The egg then turned up separately on a saucer! We politely decline the offer and decided to eat else where. What has happened to the harvester?! It use to be a great family place - salad bar always fresh and full with warm bread rolls and the meals large and hot and tasty. Such a shame

  I returned to give this place another shot after 2 bad previous experiences. Restaurant was half empty but due to 'kitchen problems' it took 20 minutes to be seated. Salad bar was fully stocked on this occasion but the rest of the food was disgusting. The first time our food was served it was stone cold and the rare steak was raw. It sat in the window for 10 minutes before being served. They re-served and my husbands steak again this was served raw and was the worst cut of steak I've seen. 3rd time he opted for a different dish. The kitchen staff seemed to be having serious issues. Slamming food down on plates, with little care, plating up steaks 5 minutes before the rest of the food for that plate was ready and conducting rude conversations for all to hear. I actually watched one steak sit in the window for 17 minutes before they finally plated the other food and served it! I will not be returning to this restaurant again.
